Christmas Eve

It is 10:15 Christmas eve, the children are all snug in their beds, not sure what vision are dancing in their head. I love this time of year, I love to read the story of Jesus's birth to my children. I am so very thankful for Jesus Christ, for His birth, His life and His death. I know that he lives and loves each one us, and that His plan for us is to return and live with him someday with our families. I have so many blessing I wouldn't know where to beging counting. And I know that I have them because Christ loves me. May you all have a very merry Christmas with Christ in the center of your celebrations.

Our Christmas PJ's

One of our traditions is getting new pj's for Christmas. They get to open one present Christmas eve and it is alway pj's. They have been guessing for the last week to see if we would tell them what kind of pj's they would get. By 5 pm tonight, christmas eve, they had both showered and was ready to open the present. I think we did good!!

Making Cookies for Santa

Here they are making cookies for Santa, who will be coming tonight.

Christmas Break

This is what we do during Christmas break. Kaeden pulls Taesi on the sled behind the 4-wheeler..

Or Jared and Taesi pull Kaeden behind the 4-wheeler
And if that get boring Kaeden will take Taesi for a ride.

Tia's Dance

December 19, i got to go and watch Tia (Jennifer's 2nd to oldest child) and Sherriann(Tia's best friend and practically part of the may family) perform at their drill competition. They did amazing see below all of them doing the splits, this is nothing. They started out doing head stands. Jared stayed at Jen's with our 2 kids and Jen's 3 youngest while i got to sit and watch Tia. I wish I could go to all of the competition the girls are so dedicated it just gives me the goose bumps thinking about it.

Taesi's 1st dance recital

Taesi had her first dance recital. She did so good, I was afraid that she would be shy, believe it or not she does have those moments, and not get out there and dance. She looked so cute and did her best to do the dances.

What I want for Christmas???

Kaeden asked for a rip stick and a nerf CF35, I guess it is an automatic nerf gun that can shoot 35 bullets. Fun Fun Fun.

Taesi asked for a doll, a barbie and a mirror. When I asked what she wanted a mirror for she replied with her head bobbing from side to side, "so she can look at her self." What a princess????

I am so spoiled....

I was at the hospital picking up my paperwork and talking with me boss, Taesi was with me and being quite the stinker that day. She had people she goes and visit with at the hospital and of course they give her stickers and treats. Well she says to no one in particular "I am so spoiled, I am one spoiled little girl, I am cute so I get what I want." I was floored, and thankful no one really heard her!!!! An no this is not my doing. I called my wonderful sister Jennifer and gave her a talking to. You see she tells Taesi quite often that she is cute and that she loves to spoil her because she is a princess. Jennifer did admit she created a monster and then laughed.

YUMMY PIE!!!

Kaeden finally got the Bannana cream pie that he has been asking me to make for a few months. Why bannana cream I don't know, but he sure enjoyed it!!!!

Thankgiving dinner

Yes this is the boys peeling potatoes, (Chad, Jared and Dave)I think they finally figured it out that if they left everything up the may girls that Thanksgiving dinner might not happen until very late that night. Sometime we visit more than work, and most of the time we aren't so good at doing both at the same time.

Here is Kaeden at the big kids table.

And here we have Taesi at the little kids table.

Waiting for Thanksgiving dinner

We had the May's Thanksgiving dinner in Cedar this year. Juliann happily offered her house for the party. We stayed at Melissa's house were it was quieter at night. It was a blast. Juliann's has a great back yard and the weather was beautiful so the kids played outside most of the time. I am very thankful for my family.

The little boys playing basketball. Someone must have kick them off the wii.

Taesi and Kira(Todd's youngest) watching the kids play basketball from a safe distance.

snow mobiling on a sunny day

Now this is what snowmobling should be about. Taesi decided to stay and play with friend while Jared, Kaeden and myself went over by Juction to ride for the day. It was sunny and warm (around 35 degrees). We had a blast, however I am not so sure about the bundling up part.

Kaeden is so much like his father, anything outdoors is awesome!!!!!

Snow mobiling in the Snow

Jared talked his mom into letting us borrow the snow mobiles for the winter, so after a week of working to get them start, they haven't been used for awhile, we were ready to try them out. Unfortunatly the red one did not want to start. So me and the kids rode the green one around while Jared worked on the other one. It was snowing and cold but we had fun. He did get the red one started and we went for a short ride before dark.

Taesi's 5th Birthday

I can't believe my baby is 5 years old. She got this Awesome Princess bike. She got to have a party later that week which was a blast for her. 10 little princesses in one house, wow was that fun!!! She got a lot of lip gloss and body glitter, in which she has to put on each day before school. Yikes am I in for it or what.

Trick ir treat

Here they all are dressed up and ready to go. We went to the truck or treat at Juliann and Melissa's ward. Lots of candy in little time. The only problem is that the kids aren't tired.

Taesi and Taylynn having a little snack. After we hit all the cars they were ready for more. So we went to a few house and got way to much candy. We did eventually tire them out and they all slept great that night.

Brandon and Kaeden waiting to go to the houses.

Kaeden's hidden talent

At the Carnival they had a dance floor set up. I went to find Kaeden and here he was. What talent he has, I don't think I can do the hoola hoop this good. Look at that concentration.

Halloween Carnival

As if Trick or Treating wasn't enough. We go to Cedar for halloween and this year there was a carnival at Brandon's school the night before. The kids got to play games and eat treats along with pizza for dinner.

Brandon, Kaeden and Collin doing the gunny sack race.

Kaeden & Football

We took to an SUU game, he has started watching football at home with Jared. He has started to ask question and really understand the game. It is fun to watch. At the SUU game he asked where the yellow line was, all those of you that watch football on TV will understand. So Jared had to show him the chains on the side and explain how it really works.

pumpkin carving

Here are our amazing pumpkins. The kids draw the faces, I get to clean them out and Jared gets to carve them. If you look closely Kaeden's is saying BOO.

Sister's Weekend

What a wonderful weekend!!! My sister's and I leave our family's at our homes along with all our other responsibilities and go spend time with our parents. It is a weekend with lots of food, fun and laughter. We have a fondue party with a chocolate fountain, usually get pedicures and what ever else sounds fun at the moment. We go home feeling energized and ready to take on our worlds again!!

Chucky Cheese

The kids had a great time at Jennifer's, of course. We took our kids along with Dominique, who slept with Taesi while we were gone and Brandon to Chucky Cheese. We had pizza and played for awhile. We went school shopping the next day and then headed home. Tired but happy to be in our own beds.

Camping

Our last night. We found a great site by a river in Oregon, I think? We had a wonderful time. Can't wait for next years trip.

Up the coast

We Spent the next few days working our way up the coast and eventually went across Washington and then back to Utah to pick up the kids. The coast beautiful, it wasn't at all what I had expected. We camped most nights, not to sure about the humidity everything was wet when we woke up each morning.

We stopped at the Tillamook cheese factory one morning and stocked up on some treats for the rest of the way home. That night we made it to east of Seatle to stay with my uncle and his family. I haven't seen them for a while it was great to be with them. All of their kids and their families came over for dinner. It reminded me of when they lived in St George and i used to fo and stay with them. It was definitely a highlight for me.

San Fransisco

Jared's Uncle and Aunt who live in modesto, CA came our to San Fransisco and took us on a tour. We had a great time!! They took us all over the city and all a round it. The water was freezing!!!!!

Jared and his Uncle and Aunt.

This is look down at the golden gate bridge. We watch the fog roll in, something we don't see in Panguitch.
This is lombaro street? The crookedest street in America. The streets of San Fransisco are just fun. Jared was thankful we weren't on the bike!!!!!!

Gorilla BBQ

Have you ever watched Dines,Drive-ins and dives? This is one of those places, it was great!!! The meat and sauce was amazing, and the owner was a crack-up. We actually planned our day around eating here and it was worth it.

He actually has BBQ tatooed on his nuckles.

Santa Cruz

We stayed in Sanfrancisco for three nights the first morning we found a great scenic highway and made our way to Santa Cruz. It was a beautiful ride. The beach wasn't so bad either.

This is looking off the pier back at the beach.

On our way back to San Fransisco we saw this, there were tons of them. Parasurfing I think.
