Motorcycle Trip 2009

The day is finally here!! We left the kids in Salt Lake with Jennifer and we were off for 8 days of motorcycle riding. We went through Nevada and stayed at Lake Tahoe. It was Gorgeous, I am not sure if I have seen more beautiful scenery!! After Lake Tahoe we headed for California.

Silly Sayings by My Silly Kids

We were having family home evening and talking about the Gift of the Holy Ghost. When I asked Kaeden how we feel when the Holy Ghost is prompting us, he told me to "ask him again after he is baptized."

We were in Overton at Grandma's house Kaeden was still a sleep and Taesi has just woke up. She look and him and said only as Taesi could, "Ahh he is so cute when he's asleep."

In Sept Jared went on a 2 week Motorcycle trip. The morning that he left Taesi can into the kitchen and told me to smell a pillow, which I did. She said that "the pillow smell like Dad and she was just going to smell if for a while."

When Kaeden found out who is 2nd grade teacher was the one he was hoping to get he said" Success is Mine" I think he was very excited.

Kaeden and Taesi were playing at a friends house while I got a perm. When I pick them up Kaeden looked at me and asked if I go struck be lightening. Luckily my hair has relaxed a bit.

Kaeden was sick and got to stay home from church by himself, He ask me if I could stay until 8pm, and told Jared when he called to check on him that "He could get used to staying home by himself." I am not so sure I like this independant streak.

We were in the car picking Kaeden up for school, Taesi got out of her seat belt and was leaning in the front seat. I tapped her head and told her to get back in her car seat. She start sobbing and told me "her King doesn't like it when people are mean to his princess." I am sure you can guess who her king is and of course sheis the princess. I told her that her king wants here to be safe and wear her seat belt, now she does.

After coming home from Cedar City, it was quite late, we told the kids it was time for bed and Kaeden said, "I won't go to sleep until I get my dignity back." Thanks spongebob

Melissa had Taesi and Collin at walmart on 12/12/08, when Taesi said, "you'll never take my dignity." Thanks again Spongebob

Taesi was looking at her pictures that we got taken in Novemeber for her birthday, my princess, said "I look so pretty, I just love me." 12/4/08

Just ask Taesi and she will tell you who is the king. It's her dad and she of course is the princess. 11/1/08

Kaeden missed school in October for a destist appt. The next day he had homework ( more than just his ususal book to read) It took him 15 minuted instead of 5 minute to finish. He said that he will never miss another day of school again!! 11/1/08
